Meicen Sun is an assistant professor of information policy at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign School of Information Sciences. Her research examines the political economy of information and the effect of information policy on the future of innovation and state power. Sun holds an A.B. with Honors from Princeton University, an A.M. with a Certificate in Law from the University of Pennsylvania, and a Ph.D. from MIT followed by a postdoctoral fellowship at Stanford University.
