EAG Workshop London hosts MIT FutureTech

The MIT FutureTech team had a productive visit to London in late May to attend the Effective Altruism Global (EAG) London 2026 conference. The team met with researchers and leaders from Longview Philanthropy, The World Bank, Rethink Priorities, Epoch, the UK AI Safety Institute, and more. There was a lot of excitement about FutureTech’s research from the AI economics and AI safety/governance communities. Thanks to Tess Fagan, Jayson Lynch, Simon Mylius, Alex Fogelson, Zach Brown, Grant Murphy, Hans Gundlach, and Adam Kuzee for representing the lab at this key event!
