Grant is a research assistant studying AI adoption in firms and its impact on the labor market. He has worked in industry as a software engineer and quantitative finance analyst. He performed technical AI research at Yale University and University of Michigan, where he also received an MS in Mathematics and BS in Mathematics and Data Science. He is broadly interested in the real-world impacts of powerful AI systems and what we can do to integrate them safely and effectively into our society.
